Vale of Evesham CFRs gains new vehicle with donations.
In September 2025 one of our response vehicles was written off after an ambulance unfortunately collided with it while it was parked at an incident. Fast forward to February 2026, thanks to our amazing supporters the Vale of Evesham Community First Responders have added a brand new response vehicle to our fleet.
We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support shown by our community. This vehicle will make a real difference to people’s lives. Every minute counts in a medical emergency, and this will ensure we can provide more coverage to the Vale of Evesham and its surrounding villages. After a rigorous selection process, we chose a Dacia Duster as the base vehicle. This gives us a 4x4 capability to reach some of the more remote villages in our coverage area during inclement weather.
The new vehicle was funded entirely through donations from residents, local businesses such as our amazing supporters Specsavers Evesham, The Valkyrie Bar and Food to go, the Wychavon Rural Fund, Worcestershire County Council and its councillors, the John Martins Charity, the Misses Barrie Charitable Trust and Evesham Town Council.
We continue to need your help please. Each of our vehicles costs over £5000 per year to run, and we also have to purchase uniforms & equipment. We receive no funding from the NHS or West Midlands Ambulance Service - every penny we spend is raised through generous donations from members of the public, and other fundraising. If you would like to help us with either a ‘one off’ or recurring donation please fill out the form below.
